What Carson Means to Us...

A few words about Carson...
Carson’s visits mean a lot to me because I know that a kid or a grown up is going to have at least one pair of clothing.  It makes me feel good.
My experience with the Clotheseline is positive. I have donated a lot of clothes. Some of the clothes I have donated still fit me but I give them away anyway.
Lotus

When Carson comes to visit the class it makes me feel happy and gives me lots of excited feelings.
The Clothesline has become an important experience for me because it helps people around the world who have diabetes. The exciting part is that when Carson comes sometimes we squish Carson into our learning . Carson has a great attitude and you never can tell if Carson is upset or not.
Sky

When Carson visits he is funny. He lets us throw the bags in his truck. He always wants to know what we are learning and he is never upset even if he has had a busy day.
Keagan

When Carson visits he makes me feel two times my size instead of feeling only two feet tall and he gives me motivation to do anything and that has changed my perspective of school.
Zach

When Carson visits it makes me happy and I like how he waits at the door until we all say, “Carson’s here”.
Katrina

When Carson visits he makes me laugh and he is also really funny and he is really fun.
Every time Carson visits I feel a happy tingly feeling inside and know that the rest of the day is going to be all right. He is one of the best guys to do that job because he is always cheerful and you can never tell if he is upset.
Kanae

When Carson visits it means a lot because he walks in with a smile and participates in our stuff no matter what it is. Carson is also funny and he makes us laugh. He also makes me smile.
My experience with the Clothesline makes me feel good because it helps people with diabetes and somebody that doesn’t have a coat will get one.
Jamie

When Carson comes to visit I feel happy (e.g.)  if I was crying and Carson walks in I would all of a sudden  feel happy. Carson is a unique person and no one can or will ever replace him. To me Carson is Batman and Terry Fox put together and even better than that. That makes him our “Foxbat”. Carson ROCKS!

CARSON IS THE BEST CLOTHESLINE SUPPORTER EVER!!!!!!!!!
When Carson comes he waits at the door until we say, “ CARSON IS HERE!”.
One day Carson came and we saw him at recess. We all ran over to the truck and there were kids that don’t know him and said, “YAY CARSON. YAY CARSON. YAY CARSON”, and hugged him too!. When we were doing that there was a kid and his name was Carson too!!!!!!! So that was so  funny because when we were saying, “ CARSON”,  the little boy thought  that we were calling him so he came over to see what we were talking about and hugged him. Then, Carson took us to the truck so we put the bags into the truck and he came to see us and told us about his tooth and then told us to brush our teeth. So, that’s why I think that Carson is the best ever and that is why we call him, “Foxbat”.

When Carson visits our class it makes me feel happy because he is always on time and never bales on us. He is always supportive to people who are feeling sad and he has become one of the pack, the Husky Pack!!! Although we sometimes only 10 or less bags he comes all the way to the get the bags and TO SEE US!!
My experience with the Diabetes Clothesline is good since Brin is my sister’s best friend who has Type 1 diabetes. My experience with the Clothesline is that we get lots of money for our Hands-on club. It’s called Hand-on club because there are building materials, legos, slinkys, and lots of other new things.
