                                                                                        SPCA Fundraiser

Miss Davies has offered to make face coverings as a fundraiser for the Norfolk SCPA to help support the cost of the new facility … she ordered 5 meters of fabric, 1 meter of 5 different prints, at $8.00/meter from Fabricland … so far she has made 57 coverings (see examples above) with 10 masks from each print and one having 7 extra. The Manager at the SPCA has decided that each masks will sell online for $7.00 each.
How much money will the SPCA make if the cost of the material is being offered for free?
How much money will the SPCA make if the cost of the material is being deducted from the proceeds? Please show all of your work

Over the next several weeks, we are going to learn about different early societies and ancient civilizations... last week you were asked to pick a civilization and find a map, the climate, and the timeline for it ...
This week you are asked to highlight the structures and/or buildings that existed in your civilization... or you  can choose to study castles as is demonstrated using the link below

For example, Kings and Queens lived in castles ... this week we will learn about the different kinds of castles... be sure to watch the video on castles on the Castles webpage indicated below

Did you know that evidence suggests that pyramids were located in many parts of the world not just in Egypt which suggests that although they did not communicate civilizations understood how important a square-based pyramid was when building a structure... in some cultures it was not called a pyramid but was know as a ziggarut...
